UBO registration
Based on various anti-money laundering measures, every legal entity is obliged to register a UBO in the Netherlands.
UBO stands for Ultimate Beneficial Owner. In Dutch we say ‘Uiteindelijk Belanghebbende’.
In short, you are a UBO if you have more than 25% of the voting rights or profit rights within the legal entity or can actually control it. Is there no direct UBO? Then you have to register a pseudo UBO.
The registration is quite a paper process because you have to send several pieces of evidence. We can help you with this registration in the Netherlands.
